I have a feeling this is not going to be my year. My car was broken into this past weekend. The irony of the whole situation cuts both ways. Whoever this miscreant was, he wasn’t very bright. He smashed through the driver side window and ripped out the CD player. If he had just walked around to the front passenger side, he could have gotten in fairly easily. The lock on that side has been broken for about 2 months. When I got to my car I could see the front driver side door was still locked, which means that he had to have just stuck half his body through and ripped out the player with the other half of his body outside of the car. But wait. There’s more! No small acts of vandalism and theft goes unrewarded. The CD player that he so obligingly took care of for me is BROKEN! It’s seven years old and it’s been eating up my CDs. I haven’t been able to play CDs with that thing for quite some time. SUCKER!
To whoever you are: Thanks for taking care of my little cd player problem. As for the window. I really didn’t appreciate that. I hope you choke on the stolen goods. I also hope you catch something more fatal than stupidity.
